Thanks for sharing it, but i saw all lg g4 quantum ips lcd screens going with severe burn in (or identical issue with an alternate technical name), in some handsets are more blatant and others less, i have one friend that had the issue with an iphone se, he told me that lg manufactured the screen using a similar technology used in moto g4 plus and lg k10 that lead to the same issue as lg g4. Shares if the leaks are true, the upcoming iphone x will be the first of apple's smartphones to. Screen burn can also happen on lcd mobile screens, although it’s rare and more difficult to fix since lcd pixels work very different from oled versions.
The cheaper aftermarket quality screens are usually more prone to that screen burn in issue like you mentioned. While this brings amazing brightness levels, the ability to ditch the bezels and amazing color reproduction, it does expose the iphone x to image retention issues. While it was off, i noticed what appeared to be a burn spot a the same position on the screen where the bright spot was.
What you’re probably seeing is image persistance which is completely normal if areas of the scree. I had same concerns as you so i stopped having google maps displayed in car at all time.
